Today we had a lovely drive through the Val d’Orcia to Montalcino, to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. We had coffee, wandered around the narrow streets, got trapped in the Comune doorway as a wedding party left and almost (accidentally) appeared on their photos… We had lunch, visited San Antimo, and had a slow drive home, stopping to take photos.
Today would have been my Dad’s 86th birthday.
