Here it is…the final piece of the jigsaw* – this is my official “Non-mandatory” but very precious residence card, which turned out to be, in effect, mandatory after all… I’ve been unable to start the Textiles side of my business without it, hence the delay in doing that. I picked it up from the Questura in Perugia late on Monday. Why precious? Well, it confirms I was resident before 31/12/20 and I’m therefore covered by the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement, which as friends in Italy, France and other EU countries will know, is very important indeed.
