Grape harvest day…my back aches, my hands are very stained…and I’m ready for a large – bought- glass of wine! It’s been a full day – lots of grapes picked, squished, and put in the stainless steel vat to ferment. Pippa and Theo obviously “helped”, never more than a few feet away, and we only broke off for a snacky-lunch to keep us going.
