12 months ago today we got the keys for our house! We didn’t own it until Dec, and couldn’t move in because there was no kitchen, but we could spend our days here and let the dogs play in the garden. On the same day the local police checked we were living in our home in Nardelli, therefore confirming our residency.
Since then we’ve converted the house from 3 apartments to one home, taken over a holiday house management business, set up my studio – now ready for classes, run a trial sewing holiday…..and made so many wonderful new friends that I really can’t believe it. These new friends have been so welcoming, so helpful and kind, that they’ve really made us feel at home.
